  Question
My presentation has over 60 slides. The last thing I want is 60 pages for my
notes (not handouts). I've tried duplicating the elements on the Notes
Master, but it prints only blanks or what is in the layout - not what is in
the presentation - except for the first slide.

I realize I'm trying to create a custom Notes Master, but I can't figure out
to get the notes on the Handouts Master or multple slides and notes on the
Notes master.

So, how can I create a custom Master with either one so that I have 3 or 4
slides per page with their associated notes?

Thank you,

Laura Douglas

Hi Laura,

use File - Send to - Microsoft Word. There's one layout with 3 slides plus
notes. And you can edit the document in Word to make it even shorter.

Best regards,
Ute

  Hi, Ute,

Do I use the 3-slide Handouts Master to Send-to or is there one available in
the Notes Master?

Thanks,

Laura

You start the "Send to" from Normal view, not with any Handouts Master. You
will be prompted for the layout of the Word document in a dialog.

Best regards,
Ute

For Office 2007 users: start the help browser and type in "send powerpoint
handouts to word for printing" or Click the office icon in the document, drop
down to publish file > Create handouts in microsoft office word > Just hit
OK and it'll start to work for you!!!
