  Question
I am using PP 97 and have been trying to find a way to add numbering into my slide (instead of bullets). I could manually change the bullet symbols to number but the next bullet would be the same number as the one before so I would have to change it on every bullet. Does anyone know how to add them manually?

PPT didn't have a numbered bullets option until PPT 2000.

You can download this add-in for PPT 97, though. It should do the trick. http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=30288E8F-66BE-481B-A8B8-6B9839B2FAAB&displaylang=en
