I was wondering if there is a way to change the colour that appears when you
highlight text in a text box. Ie. if the font colour was R51 G133 B253 (a
medium blue) when you highlight it an awful red colour appears so it is
difficult to see the font. Is there anyway to change that red colour?

I don't see the original post, so I'll piggyback on this one.
Heather, you cannot change this color. It's an internal PPT thing -- PPT
tries to find a color which contrasts between the background and the font
color. Sometimes you get weird colors, but at least you get some contrast.
This is a new thing in PPT 2002 (aka PPT XP) and 2003. Previous versions
didn't give you any highlight at all, so it wasn't unusual to see many
people here asking why they couldn't see their text when they'd click in a
textbox. (The reason is because their font color and background color were
specified as the same color in the color scheme...)
