  Question
Hello all! I seem to recall using powerpoint to do presentations and having
my speakers notes display in a small window on the monitor. I just attempted
to do this and the notes pane is projected on top of the slide show. Is
there a way to avoid showing the audience the speakers notes?

  Answer
See "Slide Show" | "Set Up Show..." menu item, place a check against "Show
Presenter View" box, start slide show.

You might also want to look at:

Thank you for the response. I see that the check box is unavailable because I
have to have a second monitor for that purpose? Or I need to purchase
Powershow? Thanks so much for sending me in the direction so I can decide
what will work best for me.

You need to have a second monitor and graphics card that can independently
configure additional display outputs. Look at Multiple Monitor Tutorial at:
http://www.rdpslides.com/pptfaq/FAQ00476.htm

PowerShow enables you to use your multi-monitor hardware better.
