  Question
  Hello all,

I have a nice PPT 2007 presentation with the same theme whose colors I would
like to change for a few of the slides. Unfortunately when I do this, it
applies the theme colors to all slides! Does anyone know how to do this (I
don't mean background colors..).

Thanks so much!

Glen, I don't follow this explanation at all.

I have the same basic question as Joobali. I do song lyric slides for our
church. In PPT 2003 I create a set of related but different master
backgrounds and save them together as one design template. Then I can vary
the background from song to song, while still keeping a related look. I can
also use a more detaled background on title only slides, and a more plain
background for lyric slides. It's much quicker and easier than importing a
picture separately for each slide.

I have found no way in PPT 2007 to change the theme background on a per
slide basis. That's why I'm back to 2003 for my church slides. So if there is
a way, please give a detailed explanation. I would really appreciate it.

Thanks,

SBT

Go to the design tab. Pick the design/theme you only want applied to the
selected slide. Right click that design thumbnail. From the right click
menu, select "Apply to selected slides".

Okay what Glen means is to click on the slide you want (ex. Slide 2 click on
it so u are in edit view - like the part where u can put words in or pics or
what ev) then click on design

Now u must right click the slide design you prefer and click on 'Apply to
Selected Slides' and that will apply it to your slide (in this case Slide 2)
and then for the next slide do the same using whatever design you prefer!

I hope this helps!
