  Question

Hi All,

This is kind of a repost of a previous question, since I do not have enough
information/answers to help me out (thank you to Kevin for previous answers).

In Sharepoint 2007 (MOSS), under the Site Settings-->Look and Feel section,
I have some sites that show 'Navigation', and some show 'Top Link Bar'. Each
link gives a different way to modify navigation (the Navigation one seeming
the more powerful one).

Kevin said this probably has something to do with MOSS vs. WSS, templates...
etc..

I am running all of these sites on the same virtual server (MOSS). In my
practice development, I must have switched something on the one site
collection that shows 'Navigation' instead of 'Top Link Bar' but can't find
how to get the system to show one or the other. Most sites, seem to show
'Top Link Bar' instead of the 'Navigation'.

Does anyone know how to switch a site from showing 'Top Link Bar' to
'Navigation' and back again in the 'Look and Feel' section of Site Settings?

A big thank you in advance.

Dave

  Answer
You get the "Navigation" option in Site Settings when you have the Publishing
Infrastructure and Feature enabled on the site.
