Word Hyperlink PDF Question 8/24/2005 6:33 AM PST
  Question
I have a newsletter created in Word. It has live hyperlinks, will they work
once I convert the document to a pdf? Are there any different options to
click when converting the document to a pdf?

  Answer
They should work fine. What version of Adobe Acrobat are you using? Using
version 7, hyperlinks are preserved in the resulting/default .pdf, unless I
explicitly remove them.

I am having a similar problem but using 6.0 Pro. The links that work in Word
dont work after I've converted my newsletter to a PDF

I have the same problem. I'm using Word 2002 with Acrobat 6. I do not have
hyperlinks to websites but the Word document does contain cross references,
and TOC page links that are not converting over to PDF. Any ideas?

I've only been able to get my Word links to stay in the PDF if I choose
"Create PDF" from Acrobat Pro.

PDF-XChange will support both literal (e.g. http:// or WWW. etc) or embedded
style links (using the Standard or PRO Versions) such as 'Click Here' where
the undrlying URL is hidden in the text.

you can download an evaluation here :

www.docu-track.com

also the PDF-XChange Viewer will allow you to add in hyperlinks after the
file is created for the same purpose.
