  Question
I am creating two TOCs within the same document. I've marked the first TOC's
headings with A and the second TOC's headings with B. The TOCs appear with
the correct text and page numbers. However, the heading numbers (using
outlined type numbering) does not exist.

Can someone tell me what I have to do to get the heading's number to appear
in the TOC also?

Thanks

Mike

  Answer
It seems as if you created the TOC based on marked text (via the Mark
Table of Contents Entry dialog box)? Then what you are seeing is
normal: no numbering will be included--just the selected text. You'd
have to display hidden text and then edit the TC field code to include
either the typed number or a cross-reference to the number.
