  Question
I am using Office 2003 and trying to create a letterhead. I have followed
instructions online for doing so. The problem is after inserting letterhead
info in the header and closing the header and footer dialog box and follow
the next step instructions to go to page setup and check different first page
and hit OK, I lose all the info I have just inserted into the header. Can
ayone help?

  Answer
Try checking the different first page box FIRST, and then put the info into
the First Page Header, which will be nicely labeled as such for you.

It's a check box on the Layout tab of Page Setup. See

letterheads.

I tried to use the info below using Word 2007 and it does not work properly
as it inserts a "0" on page 1, where there should not be.

What I am doing is making a template that has a title page that should not
have a numbered page, on the second page, I want this to read as page "1" in
the footer. This will happen using the info below, but it puts a "0" on page
1 and I want it to be blank.

How can I do this?

Thanks

Provided you have "Different first page" enabled, just delete the PAGE field
from the First Page Footer.
