How do I switch columns in Word? in Word General Questions

  Question
  I need to show a verbatim conversation using 3 columns. How do I toggle
between the columns to enter text?

really no other way to "toggle" between columns...

  Hi Bahoda

I assume you need three columns to record the speech of three people?

I would do this in a table with three columns. Don't let the rows of the
table get too tall. Every time you need to align the text in the columns,
start a new row.

If you don't want borders on your table, you can turn them off at Format >
Borders and Shading.
