How to select a picture behind header/footer? in Word Drawing and Graphics    |   |  Help   Search For:     In:   Office   Word     Word General Questions     Word New Users     Word Application Errors     Word Drawing and Graphics     Word Mailmerge and Fax     Word Page Layout     Word Programming     Word Tables              Dcmom01 7/5/2006 10:15 AM PST   Question   Is there any way (other than deleting the whole header/footer) to select a logo/graphic that was placed in a header or footer, that now appears to be behind it? It seems that if the logo or graphic edge does not protrude past the boundary of the header/footer, you're doomed to recreate the whole thing, even if you just want to change the graphic or logo.     Was this post helpful to you?         Reply |   Top           Suzanne S. Barnhill 7/5/2006 3:12 PM PST   Answer   Display the Drawing toolbar. Click on the Select Objects tool (large white arrow at the left end). This allows you to select objects in the drawing layer without touching text. -- Suzanne S.
