Everything that you need to get started is preinstalled on your new computer from participating manufacturers. No additional software installation is required to activate the trial.
When the trial expires, your Microsoft Office 2003 Edition goes into reduced functionality mode and allows read-only and print-only access to files created during the trial period. Decide at any time to purchase and convert the trial to a full product version.
To begin your trial experience, the Microsoft Office 2003 Editions Trial software must be activated using the 25-character trial product key provided with your new computer. Trial activation requires five simple steps to get started.
1. | Launch a Microsoft Office application from the Start menu |
2. | Enter the 25-character trial product key in the Setup dialog box |
3. | Accept the Microsoft Office End User License Agreement to continue |
4. | Select Activate the Trial or Convert to a Full Product Note A perpetual product key must be purchased either at an authorized retailer or online to complete the conversion. |
5. | Make a note of the trial expiration date and register (optional) |
