Create a Service Request

Topic Last Modified: 2009-03-04

Users who have been designated as service administrators can log on to the Microsoft Online Services Administration Center and open service requests. If your company receives support from a Microsoft Partner, you cannot open a service request on the Microsoft Online Services Administration Center, but you will see information there about how to contact your Microsoft Partner.

To create a service request

  1. Log on to the Administration Center using your service administrator user name and password.

  2. Click the Support tab, click Service Requests, and then click Open a new service request in the Actions pane.

  3. Provide a title for your request and a detailed description of the issue, and then click Next.

The Service Request Details page appears.

  4. Enter information in the Service box.

All other information on this page is optional, but when you provide as much information as you can, you help identify a solution.

  5. When you have finished entering information, click Create.

The Confirmation page appears, showing the assignment for the new service request.

  6. Click Finish to return to the Service Requests page.
