Edit My Profile

After you sign in to the Microsoft Online Services Customer Portal for the first time, you are directed to complete the information in the My Profile Wizard. From time to time, you may want to update or change information in the profile.

Make sure that your profile information is up to date and contains your current information.

Because your Windows Live ID is your user ID for the Customer Portal and the e-mail address to which all notifications from the Customer Portal will be sent, you cannot change your Windows Live ID in your profile. If you have questions about your profile, contact support.

To edit your profile information

  1. Sign in to the Customer Portal using your Windows Live ID.

  2. On the Home page, in the Actions pane, click Edit profile.

After you subscribe to a service, you will not be able to change your preferred language or the country or region in your service usage address.
