The Public Relations Society of the Philippines (PRSP) recently honored Microsoft Philippines with Anvil Awards of Excellence for Tulay: An Unlimited Potential Program for Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs), and the 2nd Innovative Teachers Leadership Awards (ITLA 2), two of its citizenship programs that empower Filipinos to enable them to maximize their potential through the use of technology.
Tulay: An Unlimited Potential Program for Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) provides OFWs access to both technology and technology training to broaden their career opportunities, to facilitate communication within their families, and to help re-integrate them into the Philippine economy when they return to the country.
The 2nd Innovative Teachers Leadership Awards is a program under Microsoft Philippines' Partners in Learning (PiL) initiative that encourages educators to creatively and effectively integrate technology into classroom teaching and learning, and enhances the work of teachers as well as the classroom learning experience.
The Anvil Awards is annually conducted by the PRSP to give recognition to outstanding public relations programs and tools that have been implemented during the past year.
