Microsoft Trains Faculty and Students for IT Outreach

Microsoft Philippines and training partner People Ignite recently started its round of business and technical seminars for the Microsoft Faculty and Student Ambassador Program (FSAP). The first training was held at the Mapua IT Center, an ambassador partner institution for FSAP and a sponsor for the hands-on laboratory. Through the program, Microsoft partners with technical and business students and faculty members from the top schools in Metro Manila to help reach out to academic communities in need of technology training. The Faculty and Student Ambassador Program complements Microsoft's Partners In Learning (PIL) initiative, which seeks to enable a worldwide community of students, educators and lifelong learners to realize their full potential by providing access to technology tools and opportunities to improve skills.
