Microsoft enables Filipinos to realize their full
potential through Citizenship programs that aim to transform education, promote
local innovation, and enable jobs and opportunities for the underserved.
Microsoft has partnered with several institutions to be able to reach out to
various Filipino communities.
Its Partners in Learning program, being
implemented by the Department of Education, aims to provide teachers and
students with the opportunity to explore technology in a more productive and
meaningful way. Microsoft's Unlimited Potential program aims to help bring the
benefits of technology to the next 5 billion people who currently have no access
to IT.
It’s UP-Community Technology Skills Program is designed to improve
lifelong learning for the underserved individuals by providing technology
training through community-based learning centers. Beneficiaries of this
Unlimited Potential program include Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW), victims of
human trafficking as well as vulnerable communities. These programs are
implemented in partnership with NGOs and government agencies.
