Microsoft enables Filipinos to realize their full potential
through Citizenship programs that aim to transform
education, promote local innovation, and enable jobs and
opportunities for the underserved. Microsoft has partnered
with several institutions to be able to reach out to various
Filipino communities.
Its Partners in Learning program, being implemented by the
Department of Education, aims to provide teachers and
students with the opportunity to explore technology in a
more productive and meaningful way. Microsoft's Unlimited
Potential program aims to help bring the benefits of
technology to the next 5 billion people who currently have
no access to IT.
It’s UP-Community Technology Skills Program is designed to
improve lifelong learning for the underserved individuals by
providing technology training through community-based
learning centers. Beneficiaries of this Unlimited Potential
program include Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW), victims of
human trafficking as well as vulnerable communities. These
programs are implemented in partnership with NGOs and
government agencies.
