Stradcom enhances accounting system to meet demands of growing business

Stradcom recently signed an agreement with Gurango Software Corporation (GSC), a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner for Business Solutions, which involves the acquisition of Microsoft Dynamics GP. This new financial system will provide Stradcom with the tools that will enable the company to automate the logistics department and improve the existing automated accounting system.

Stradcom is one of the leading private sector proponents in the Philippines for Government Information Technology (IT) projects under the Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) Law. The company is the main proponent contractually obligated to undertake the Land Transportation Organization (LTO) IT Project. The LTO IT Project covers the development of an integrated IT system of critical LTO business processes, interconnecting about 200 LTO sites nationwide.

Its high scalability will allow Stradcom to customize their financial system depending on the needs of their growing company. GSC has seasoned professionals who will be able to provide technical and training support for Microsoft Dynamics GP as it goes live in Stradcom.”

The main value of the Microsoft Dynamics solution is its integration capability to automate the existing manual process being done at Stradcom. With the new system, capturing of needed information will improve employee decision-making. “GP will help us generate daily, weekly, monthly and period covered regular reports to the top management – this will equip them in setting company goals and deciding on the next steps to achieve our company goals,” Quiambao stated.

With the new system in place, once it is fully deployed, generating reports could be done in a shorter period of time and employee efficiency and productivity will surely increase.
