The newest Sony VAIO Duo 11
November 22, 2012, Manila, Philippines — Microsoft Philippines, in partnership with Sony Philippines, and Windows 8 ambassador and Asia’s Pop Idol Christian Bautista, is inviting everyone to join the Windows 8 Sony VAIO Challenge this coming Saturday, November 24, 2012 at SM Megamall where participants stand a chance to win a brand new Sony VAIO Duo 11.
To qualify in the challenge, people must visit the Windows booth located at the upper ground level of SM Megamall – B on November 24 to register there via Facebook from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM only. The mechanics of the challenge will be revealed at the booth before it begins at 3:00 PM.
“The magic of Windows 8 lies in the customer’s experience and this challenge is a great way to showcase its features using some of the coolest gadgets in the country,” said Bautista.
Aside from the challenge, the event will showcase some of latest Windows 8 devices such as PCs, laptops, all-in-ones, convertibles, tablets and notebooks from top hardware manufacturers Asus, Acer, Dell, HP, Lenovo, Samsung, Toshiba and Sony.
“Windows 8 allows me to focus on the things I love,” Bautista shared. He added, “I fell in love with Windows 8 initially because of its customizable features and great app selections. With my favorite app, the music app, I can get access to over 15 million songs and play back songs from my personal library. I really like the photo app too, which pulls all my photos together into one place and allows me to share and access them through social sites like Facebook, Flickr, SkyDrive. Let me tell you more this coming Saturday about how Windows 8 really suits my passion!”
