Directions to the Playtest Labs
From SR 520 Eastbound:
| • | The street address for Studio D is 15030 NE 36th, Redmond WA 98052 |
| • | Exit SR 520 at NE 40th St. At the stoplight stay in the left or middle lane. |
| • | Turn left onto NE 40th St and proceed to the stoplight at 148th Ave. NE |
| • | Turn left at 148th Ave. NE |
| • | Continue on 148th Ave. NE to NE 36th St. |
| • | Turn left on NE 36th St. and follow the signs for Building 92 and Studio D |
| • | Park in one of the Visitor spaces or the reserved Microsoft User Research spaces. As an alternative, you can park in the parking garage that services Studio D and the surrounding buildings (follow the signs for the parking garage) |
| • | Enter throught the main doors and check in with the Receptionist or a member of the Playtest team in the lobby of Studio D. |
Driving Information:
Arrival Information
Since most of the Playtest sessions are held during non-business hours the first set of doors to the building will probably be locked. The Playtest team will be waiting in the lobby to let you in. If you have any problems when you arrive, use the outside phone to call the lobby at extension 25779. If you arrive late and miss the start of the session please notify your Study Coordinator to reschedule. Sessions start promptly at the designated time, so plan to arrive early.
Traffic and Parking
Traffic congestion is VERY likely, so allow 20 extra minutes as a precaution. If you park in a Visitor or Microsoft User Research parking space during business hours (M-F, 8:00AM - 5:00PM) be sure to register your vehicle license plate number with the receptionist. If no visitor spaces are available you may park in an appropriate available slot.
Public Transportation
Several bus routes offer convenient access to Microsoft. The Overlake Transit Center is located across the 520 freeway from Studio D and is accessible by sidewalk from NE 40th St. Contact King County Metro at 206-553-3000 for route information, or on the web at http://transit.metrokc.gov/
