
Marc Roussel

Marc Roussel is Vice President of Microsoft Services for EMEA. As a member of the Worldwide Services Leadership Team, Marc is responsible for the strategy and execution of the Microsoft Services organization in EMEA, including France, Germany, the UK, Central and Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa and Western Europe.
Marc leads the EMEA Services organization of approximately 3,500 people, in 6 sub-regions, with 60 sales locations. He is responsible for the operational execution of Enterprise Services, which consists of Premier Support and Microsoft Consulting Services for the region.
Previously, Marc was the Director of Microsoft Services in France, where he led a team of over 300 people dedicated to delivering consultancy services and support. In this role, Marc led an aggressive growth strategy that doubled the revenue of the French Services business in three years, whilst also significantly improving customer satisfaction.
Prior to joining Microsoft in October 2007, Marc spent eleven years at IBM, running Software Sales Management for France and Europe. He also led IBM’s Global Services for the Retail sector and was CEO of a joint venture between IBM and the Galeries Lafayette Group. Marc also held positions at Canon France and Computer Associates.
He is a graduate of the Institut Superieur de Gestion (ISG). He is the father of four boys and enjoys a variety of sporting activities from skiing to motor biking as well as chess, poker, and strategy games. He lives in Paris, France.
