Microsoft and IUCN, the International Union for Conservation of Nature, announce the formation of a new partnership to further strengthen the information available on The IUCN Red List of Threatened Species. As the first corporate member of the IUCN Red List Partnership, Microsoft will provide a combination of scientific expertise and new technologies to enable a better understanding of current and future extinction threats to the world’s plant, fungi and animal species, and to allow for better conservation policy frameworks to be devised. Bang & Olufsen Likes the Sound of Office 365

Luxury audio system maker Bang & Olufsen has adopted Microsoft Office 365 to unify its email, calendaring, collaboration and communication. The Danish company looked to upgrade its email system from the limitations of Lotus Notes to a less-expensive, easier-to-scale cloud solution: Office 365. With all 2,000 employees using Office 365, Bang & Olufsen will reduce travel and IT costs, improve access and ease of use, and also enjoy email, calendars and conferencing that work better together. Microsoft names Eric Boustouller as new Area Vice President for Western Europe

Microsoft today announced that Eric Boustouller has been named Area Vice President (AVP) for Microsoft Western Europe and has been promoted to Corporate Vice President. In this role, Boustouller will be responsible for overseeing sales, marketing and services across 14 countries in the region. Since 2005, he has served as the AVP for Microsoft France. Boustouller has consistently grown the business for Microsoft France, which has regularly been amongst Microsoft's top performing subsidiaries worldwide.
