New Study Reveals in 5 years 90 per cent of jobs will require ICT skills

Research from 13 European countries indicates ICT skills requirements is driven by technology trends – not the recession. Global IT research firm IDC and Microsoft Corp. today released the results of European research measuring the importance of ICT skills in the European Union. The IDC study, entitled "Post Crisis: e-Skills are Needed to Drive Europe's Innovation Society" and commissioned by Microsoft, investigates why the next generation of workers will need ICT skills to participate in the job market.
