Now in its 8th year, the BizSpark European Summit brings together thought leaders in the entrepreneurial community across Europe - investors, start-ups, journalists, government representatives, and Network Partners. The event provides a unique platform to debate the issues facing tech entrepreneurs in Europe and see some of the best start-ups in Europe. Microsoft continues its investment in the next generation of Europe's leaders

Jean-Philippe Courtois, President of Microsoft International, outlines how Microsoft's major investments in Europe this week underscore the company's commitment to realizing individual opportunity and unlocking entrepreneurial talent. Microsoft has announced the company will award €1.5 million in cash grants to 17 European NGOs who help youth gain workforce skills, as well as the launch of a new AppCampus program in partnership with Nokia and the University of Aalto in Finland. Microsoft and Nokia will each invest up to €9 million in the latter program over the next three years to support innovation and growth among mobile startups.
