Windows Vista is ready to launch a real transformation in the industry. Mike Sievert, Corporate Vice President, Windows Client Marketing, will unveil a moment of “Wow,” in New York, and kick start the celebration for local, national and international audiences. The event will take place between 10:00 and 10:30 a.m. EST.
Luncheon with Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer and Industry Partners (invite only – confirmed reservation required)
You will be able to pick up your registration at this event; the credentials you receive will also get you into the evening events at the Windows Vista Theatre in Times Square. You will need a photo ID to pick up the credentials. With your name badge, you may use the express lane entrance – Look for the Start Button at the Celebration at the Theater.

From Times Square in New York City, join Microsoft Chairman Bill Gates for a live webcast celebrating the worldwide launch of Windows Vista and the 2007 Microsoft Office System. The celebration pays tribute to the millions of Microsoft customers, partners and product testers around the world who provided input and feedback on these products -- helping Microsoft transform the way people communicate, create and share content, and access information and entertainment in the new digital age.
Attendance for the event itself is invitation-only (confirmed reservation required). Luncheon attendees should retain their badge to gain entrance to the theater event. If you are only registered for the celebration, you can pick up registration at this event with a photo ID.

Steve Ballmer will visit Best Buy in New York to celebrate the official unveiling of Windows Vista and Microsoft Office 2007 to consumers. This activity will include product giveaways and an exciting opportunity for local schools to win a PC lab upgrade. Similar activities will also occur in local markets around the country.

Registration/Name Badges
If you are registered for the event, you should have received a confirmation email with directions and contact info. To expedite check-in bring a printed copy of your registration confirmation and be prepared to show your photo ID.
