2008 Worldwide Innovative Teachers Forum Virtual Pressroom

Approximately 250 teachers, school administrators and education policymakers are coming together in Hong Kong for the 2008 Worldwide Innovative Teachers Forum, Nov. 3–6, 2008. Now in its fourth year, the forum brings together the world’s most creative educators from more than 64 countries to celebrate and share best practices, showcase innovative classroom projects, and learn about new technologies that are helping transform the learning process.

The event focuses on the role technology can play in addressing classroom challenges, enhancing teaching practices and inspiring teachers everywhere to seek and apply innovative approaches that help prepare students for today’s changing world. An awards ceremony on Nov. 6 will recognize outstanding, innovative teachers from around the world.
