At the British Library in London to mark the United Kingdom launch of Windows Vista and the 2007 Microsoft Office system, Bill joined in a "digital reunification" of two pieces of Leonardo da Vinci's celebrated Notebooks, one piece of which Bill owns, the other the Library owns. A Windows Vista-based technology called "Turning The Pages" made it possible to digitally join the two priceless documents for the first time in 500 years.
