Bryan Lee retired from Microsoft in April 2007.

In his last position as corporate vice president of the Entertainment Business at Microsoft, Bryan Lee was responsible for overseeing and driving business strategy for the company’s entertainment efforts in music, television and video. His last project, Zune™, incorporated all three components. Lee also oversaw Microsoft's eHome Group, which produces Windows® Media Center Edition, and Microsoft® TV.

Joining Microsoft in 2000, Lee served as CFO of Microsoft's Home & Entertainment Group, where he oversaw the group's business strategy and negotiated agreements with key Microsoft industry partners for projects such as the Xbox® video game system. Two years later, he became the vice president and chief financial officer of the Microsoft Home & Entertainment Group, supervising all financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and analysis for the group, as well as assessing its fiscal performance and setting future targets.

Lee has deep roots in the entertainment industry, and before his arrival at Microsoft spent 13 years at Sony Pictures Entertainment Inc. as executive vice president of business affairs. In that role, he was responsible for negotiating all contracts related to the company's motion-picture productions. Lee began his career at Arthur Andersen & Co.

Lee holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Mississippi. When he wasn't studying, Lee loved to listen to music at local venues such as the Gin or on campus in the Grove.
