Corporate Vice President, Windows Consumer Marketing and Product Management

As corporate vice president for Windows Consumer Marketing and Product Management at Microsoft, Brad Brooks leads the consumer business for Windows client. He oversees efforts to connect with consumers on a deeper level and to deliver on the vision of a "Life Without Walls."

Prior to his current role, Brooks was general manager of product marketing for the Windows Business Group. There, he led the group's global consumer and business marketing efforts, including the market introductions of Windows Vista and Windows software assurance. Brooks also was responsible for all global marketing campaigns as well as working with key partners and industry leaders to communicate the benefits and value of Windows to customers around the world.

Brooks has a deep background in product management, marketing, business development, and global operations. He came to Microsoft in 2002, when joined the company to work on the initial business development and marketing of Windows XP Media Center Edition.

Before coming to Microsoft, Brooks held product management, business development, marketing and sales roles with Enron, Lucent Technologies, and AT&T.

Brooks has a master's degree in international management from the American Graduate School of International Management (Thunderbird) and a bachelor's degree in business from the California State University.
