Peter Engrav is a Distinguished Engineer who has been a developer in the Office division since he came to Microsoft in 1991. He’s been the development manager of OneNote since its inception in 2001. Before that he was a developer on Word (versions 2 and 6), Office 97, Mac Office 98, and PhotoDraw. Engrav graduated with a degree in Mathematics from UC Berkeley. He reads, bikes, plays Myst and The Game. He grew up very much in Microsoft’s neighborhood; his elementary school is only a few miles from the main Redmond campus. And he may be unique in that he went from delivering pizza to Microsoft to ordering pizza from Microsoft in under a year.
