Todd PetersCorporate Vice President, Mobile Communications Marketing Group Updated: May 1, 2008 Todd Peters is corporate vice president of Microsoft's Mobile Communications Marketing Group. His responsibilities include product planning, product management and global marketing campaigns for Windows Mobile software and Live Mobile services. Peters joined Microsoft in January 2008 after spending four years at Staples, where he most recently served as vice president of brand management and oversaw all US retail technology marketing. Peters led the strategic development of the Staples "Easy" brand and Easy Button campaign which enabled Staples to stand out in the office superstore category and resulted in consistent market share gains for Staples relative to competitors. Prior to Staples, Peters spent six years at Intel, where he held multiple marketing positions. During this time he was responsible for international marketing and sales development for Europe, Middle East and Africa while based in Germany. He also led Intel's Corporate Brand Strategy team and developed the brand architecture for the Intel family of processor brands. Prior to Intel, Peters worked as a senior leader in the advertising industry where he led a number of award-winning breakthrough consumer marketing campaigns. Peters earned a bachelor's degree in Psychology from Roanoke College in Virginia. He is married with two children. He enjoys his time away from work with his family and is an avid skier, mountain biker and youth lacrosse coach.
