Ron MarkezichCorporate Vice President, U.S. Enterprise and Partner Group Updated: April 18, 2011 Ron Markezich is corporate vice president of Microsoft's U.S. Enterprise and Partner Group, which serves 1,500 customers across the company's enterprise software offerings, cloud services and devices. In this role, Markezich is responsible for leading U.S. enterprise sales and marketing, including national and field sales, partner, marketing, operations and vertical industry teams. Prior to this role, Markezich served as corporate vice president of Microsoft Online, where he was responsible for building Microsoft's cloud business for enterprise and public sector customers globally. This business is now the largest business productivity cloud service in the world, named Office 365, and is part of Microsoft's comprehensive suite of cloud services solutions. Markezich also formerly held the position of chief information officer for Microsoft, where he was responsible for global IT operations, application development and information security. Because of his experience in Microsoft Online and as Microsoft's CIO, Markezich is uniquely positioned to drive the transition within Microsoft's U.S. sales force toward the company's cloud services-based offerings. Markezich joined Microsoft in 1998. Before that, he was at Accenture in the company's Electronics and High Tech Group.
