REDMOND, Wash. — Sept. 15, 2005 — Microsoft Corp. CEO Steve Ballmer will kick off the launch of Microsoft^® SQL Server™ 2005, Visual Studio^® 2005 and BizTalk^® Server 2006 on Nov. 7, 2005, in San Francisco. The free, all-day event will offer an opportunity to learn how Microsoft can enable organizations to gain better business insight and deliver faster results by easily connecting people, processes and information.

In addition to technical education for developers and database administrators, the launch will showcase the technical evidence, customer success stories and industry partner offerings that demonstrate the business value of these Microsoft products. The launch is targeted at developers, IT professionals and technology decision-makers.
