Winner of $25,000 Microsoft Home Office Makeover Revealed
Microsoft Office got a makeover; one deserving Wyoming-based home office worker received one, too.

REDMOND, Wash. — Sept. 4, 2007 — The Microsoft Office team and HGTV interior designer Vern Yip presented Microsoft® Home Office Makeover grand prize winner Crile Carvey with a $25,000 home office redesign. Carvey, a software application and design business owner in Wheatland, Wyo., sought to bring order to his chaotic home office to increase his productivity and efficiency. The Microsoft Home Office team updated Carvey’s office, providing him with new tools for improved productivity, and adding furnishings and special designer touches that make the room appear larger and more inviting. Carvey won the latest in technology and home decor that will help improve his ability to create state-of-the-art production pieces.

“Having the latest version of Microsoft technology has allowed me to be more productive in my home office,” Carvey said. “I’m grateful to the Microsoft Home Office team for creating such a beautiful space in my home; my office is now up to par with the speed and reliability that Microsoft software and services offers.”

Carvey was selected from a pool of nearly 1,500 entries. More than 100,000 votes were cast for the contestants that voters felt were most deserving of a home office makeover. Those wanting to learn more should visit http://www.makeovermyoffice.com.
