Qualifying for an additional license To qualify for an additional license, you must already have a current, valid license for the same version of Windows XP either the full version or the version upgrade. For example, you can qualify for a Windows XP Professional full version additional license if you already have a full version of Windows XP Professional. If you currently have a version upgrade, you're eligible for an additional license for the version upgrade only. To verify that you have a qualifying version of Windows XP, we ask you to simply enter the Product ID number (PID). Notes

About Windows XP Product Keys A Windows XP additional license Product Key is an electronic number that "unlocks" Windows XP and allows it to run. Your order of a new Product Key ensures security for all Windows XP customers by preventing the re-use of Product Keys by unauthorized users. Additionally, this method of software license distribution helps prevent piracy by keeping people who have not legally obtained a valid, single-use Product Key from installing Windows XP on their computers.
