If you are currently using Works 8 or Works Suite 2005 (and for a limited time, Works Suite 2004) you can download the new security upgrade for free.

IMPORTANT: If you are a Works Suite customer, you must install Works 8 upgrade prior to installing the Works Suite Add-in for Microsoft Word. Click here to find out how to confirm you have Works Suite.

    Works Suite 2004 or Works Suite 2005 Customers:

    If you are using Works Suite, you need to install both Works 8 upgrade and the Works Suite Add-in for Microsoft Word.

    IMPORTANT:Works 8 upgrade must be installed before Works Suite Add-in for Microsoft Word.

    How to Confirm That You Need The Works Suite Add-in for Microsoft Word
    To confirm that you have Works Suite, please follow these steps:

    1. Click Start, and then open Control Panel.
    2. Double click Add/Remove Programs.
    3. Scroll through the list to see of Microsoft Works Suite Add-in for Microsoft Word appears in the list of installed programs.
    4. If the program is present, you need to also install the updated Works Suite Add-in for Microsoft Word after installing Works 8.
    5. If the program is not present, you do not need to install the updated Works Suite Add-in for Microsoft Word.
