Help! When Technical Problems Happen
Welcome to Microsoft Works! Whether you’re a new or seasoned Works user, we want to make sure you get the assistance you need.

Getting help!
In a perfect world, we’d control our computers with our brains and we’d never need help with a program.

But this isn’t a perfect world.

Everybody needs help sometimes, and let's face it, it’s sometimes tricky to find. Here are the best resources for finding answers about Works.

Works Help
You’re probably already familiar with Works Help. Here's a tip: If you can’t see Help on the right side of your screen, press F1 (to the right of the Esc key).

The Works Discussion Group
Millions of people use Works. (And we’re thankful for all of them!) If you have a question, chances are someone else has already answered it – and they’ve probably answered it in the Works discussion group. What’s a discussion group? Well, it's like a bulletin board on the Web, and it’s where a lot of smart and helpful Works users hang out. Ask a question, and these fabulous people are always willing to help.

The Microsoft Knowledge Base
The Knowledge Base is exactly what it sounds like: a vast repository of wisdom on all things Microsoft, including Works. Good search options make it easier than you’d think to find the answers you’re looking for, and it’s available round the clock.

Check out the Knowledge Base.

The Works for Windows Support Center
This is the place to go for late-breaking information on Works. You’ll find downloads, updates, workarounds, and Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs). The Highlights & Top Issues section is a great resource if you’ve run into a sudden problem. Need to talk to a human? You can find technical support phone numbers here, too.

Go to the Support Center.

For technical issues, please visit our Support page. Thank you!
