RAW image white paper spotlights format flexibility

RAW images are ideal for adjusting exposure and white balance while retaining remarkable detail. But because there is no universal RAW "format," photographers who favor RAW data have been forced to rely on special software or plug-ins for even basic image processing tasks. Now, the Microsoft RAW Image Thumbnailer and Viewer brings integrated RAW support to Windows XP.
