Joyce Tenneson is acknowledged by many as among the most respected photographers of our time and "one of America's most interesting portrayers of the human character." Her work, known for laying bare the essence of her subjects, has been shown in over 150 exhibitions worldwide, and is part of numerous private and museum collections. Her photographs have appeared on the covers of magazines such as Time, Life, Entertainment Weekly, Newsweek, Premiere, Esquire and The New York Times Magazine, and she is the author of 10 books. She is also a much sought-after portrait photographer with clients in Europe, Japan, and the United States. Today digital imaging is making big inroads in Tenneson's work. She and her staff employ a workflow solution based on Microsoft Windows XP Professional and Windows Small Business Server 2003 along with solutions from Adobe, Canon, Dell, Epson, Extensis, LaCie, Lexar, and Microsoft. As a result she is able to capture and organize her images digitally and to facilitate her many exhibitions and book projects with greater efficiency and ease.
