As part of Microsoft's routine, monthly security update cycle, we released the following security updates on February 13, 2007:

MS07-007 - addresses a vulnerability in Microsoft Windows (KB927802)

MS07-008 - addresses a vulnerability in Microsoft Windows (KB928843)

MS07-009 - addresses a vulnerability in Microsoft Windows (KB927779)

MS07-010 - addresses a vulnerability in Microsoft Malware Protection Engine, affecting Windows Live OneCare, Windows Defender and other antivirus clients (KB932135)

MS07-011 - addresses a vulnerability in Microsoft Windows (KB926436)

MS07-012 - addresses a vulnerability in Microsoft Windows, and Visual Studio (KB924667)

MS07-013 - addresses a vulnerability in Microsoft Windows, and Office (KB918118)

MS07-014 - addresses a vulnerability in Microsoft Word (KB929434)

MS07-015 - addresses a vulnerability in Microsoft Office (KB932554)

How to get the updates

To get the Windows updates and Microsoft Office updates for your home computer or laptop go to the Microsoft Update Web site now.

If you are using Windows Vista you can manage your updates through the control panel. For more information, see Windows Vista: How to update your operating system.

NOTE: Please review the FAQ on the site to see whether updates for your versions of Windows, Internet Explorer, Microsoft Office, or other products are available on Microsoft Update. If they are not, go to Windows Update or Office Update.

To manually download available updates, go to Microsoft Update or in Windows Vista go to your contol panel. After your computer has been scanned to see which updates it needs, click the Custom button to find and choose the update you want to install. We recommend you install all Important, Recommended, and High-Priority updates immediately.

We recommend that you get the updates delivered automatically to your PC. When your computer is on and connected to the Internet, the most current security updates are automatically downloaded and installed. Other steps you can take to help protect your computer

Make sure you have a firewall, and antivirus and antispyware programs
