To configure live stream splitting for a media streaming application filter

1.

In the console tree of ISA Management, click Application filters.

Where?

Internet Security and Acceleration Server > Servers and Arrays > Name  > Extensions > Application filters

In the details pane, right-click Streaming media filter and then click Properties.

On the Live Stream Splitting tab, click one of the following options:

•

If the media stream should not be accessible from a local Windows Media Technologies (WMT) server, click Disable WMT live stream splitting.

•

If the media stream should be accessible from a single local WMT server, click Split live streams using a local WMT server.

•

If the media stream can be accessed from one or more local WMT servers, click Split live streams using the following WMT server pool.

If you selected Split live streams using the following WMT Server pool, then click Add and type the Internet protocol (IP) address of the WMT server.

In User Account, type the server administrator user name, then type the account password in Password and Confirm password. The user must be a member of the Netshow Administrators group on each WMT server.

Notes

•

To open ISA Management, click Start, point to Programs, point to Microsoft ISA Server, and then click ISA Management.

•

You should only select Split live streams using a local WMT server if a single ISA Server computer allows clients access to WMT servers.
