To configure how to redirect SSL requests for Web publishing rules

1.

In the console tree of ISA Management, click Web Publishing Rules.

Where?

Internet Security and Acceleration Server > Servers and Arrays > Name  > Publishing > Web Publishing Rules

On the View menu, confirm that Advanced has a check mark next to it.

In the details pane, right-click the applicable Web publishing rule and then click Properties.

On the Bridging tab, in Redirect SSL Requests as, select an option:

If Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) requests should be routed to the Web server using Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP) protocol, click HTTP requests.

If SSL requests should be routed to the Web server using Secure HTTP (HTTPS) protocol, click SSL requests.

If SSL requests should be routed to the Web server using File Transfer Protocol (FTP), click FTP requests.

5.

(Optional) If you selected SSL requests, click Use a certificate to authenticate to the SSL Web server and click Select to select the certificate to use.

Notes

To open ISA Management, click Start, point to Programs, point to Microsoft ISA Server, and then click ISA Management.

If you select HTTP requests, then Microsoft Internet Security and Acceleration (ISA) Server terminates the secure control channel.

If you select SSL requests, then ISA Server opens a new secure control channel to the published Web server.
