To use client-side certificate to authenticate to Web server

1.

In the console tree of ISA Management, click Web publishing rules.

Where?

Internet Security and Acceleration Server > Servers and Arrays > Name  > Publishing > Web Publishing Rules

On the View menu, select Advanced.

In the details pane, right-click the applicable Web publishing rule and then click Properties.

4.

On the Bridging tab, select the Use a certificate to authenticate to the SSL Web server check box, then click Select.

5.

In Select Certificate, select the client-side certificate that ISA Server should use to authenticate to the Web server.

Notes

To open ISA Management, click Start, point to Programs, point to Microsoft ISA Server, and then click ISA Management.

ISA Server must have an appropriately-configured client-side certificate if you select this option. Refer to the Windows 2000 Help for more information on configuring client-side certificates.
