SOCKS filter
The SOCKS filter provided with Microsoft Internet Security and Acceleration (ISA) Server forwards requests from SOCKS applications to the Firewall service. ISA Server checks the access policy rules to determine if the SOCKS client application can communicate with the Internet.
By default, ISA Server listens for requests from SOCKS applications on port 1080. You can modify the default port. For configuration instructions, see Change SOCKS port.
