To modify a protocol definition

1.

In the console tree of ISA Management, click Protocol Definitions.

For array policy protocol definitions, where?

Internet Security and Acceleration Server > Servers and Arrays > Name  > Policy Elements > Protocol Definitions

For enterprise policy protocol definitions, where?

Internet Security and Acceleration Server > Enterprise > Policy Elements > Protocol Definitions

On the View menu, click Detail.

In the details pane, right-click the protocol definition you want to modify and then click Properties.

(Optional) If necessary, on the General tab, change the entries in Name and Description.

To add port ranges for secondary connections, on the Parameters tab, click Add.

6.

In From and To, specify the lowest and highest ports in the range of ports to use for secondary connections.

7.

In Protocol type, select the low-level protocol to use for secondary connections.

8.

In Direction, specify Outbound or Inbound.

Notes

To open ISA Management, click Start, point to Programs, point to Microsoft ISA Server, and then click ISA Management.

To edit a secondary connection, in Members, click the connection and click Edit.

To delete a secondary connection, in Members, click the connection and click Remove.

You cannot modify protocol definitions installed with Microsoft Internet Security and Acceleration (ISA) Server or with application filters.
