Using Add Hardware

You might need to be logged on as an administrator or a member of the Administrators group in order to perform some tasks.

The Add Hardware Wizard enables you to add new hardware or troubleshoot any hardware-related problems.

Open the Add Hardware Wizard


To open the Add Hardware Wizard, click Start, click Control Panel, and then click Printers and Other Hardware. Under See Also, click Add Hardware
