Using HyperTerminal

HyperTerminal lets you connect to other computers, Internet telnet sites, bulletin board services, online services, and host computers, using either your modem or a null modem cable

Open HyperTerminal

Note

To open HyperTerminal, click Start, point to All Programs, point to Accessories, point to Communications, and then click HyperTerminal

You do not need to use HyperTerminal to gain access to files and printers that are part of your local area network (LAN) or wide area network (WAN)
