Using CDs

To play or copy (rip) tracks from audio CDs, use the Copy from CD feature. When you insert a CD into your CD-ROM drive, Windows Media Player begins playing the CD automatically, unless the Player is already in use or the Player is not the default player for CDs.

By copying (ripping) your audio CDs to your computer, you can easily play music that you have collected in Media Library without having to change the CD as you would with a CD player. You can also create (burn) your own audio CDs from the items in Media Library.
