1. | Open Network Connections |
2. | Click the connection for which Internet Connection Firewall is enabled, and then, under Network Tasks, click Change settings of this connection. |
3. | On the Advanced tab, click Settings. |
4. | On the Security Logging tab, under Log file options, click Browse, and navigate to the location where you want the log file located. |
5. | In File name, type the new log file name (or leave it blank to accept the default name of pfirewall.log) and then click Open. |
| • | To open Network Connections, click Start, click Control Panel, click Network and Internet Connections, and then click Network Connections. |
| • | You must be logged on as an administrator or a member of the Administrators group in order to complete this procedure. If your computer is connected to a network, network policy settings may also prevent you from completing this procedure. |
| • | If the maximum allowable size for pfirewall.log is exceeded, the information that pfirewall.log contains is saved as pfirewall.log.1 and the new information is saved as pfirewall.log. |
| • | Internet Connection Sharing, Internet Connection Firewall, Discovery and Control, and Network Bridge are not available on Windows XP 64-Bit Edition. |
