To start Remote Access Auto Connection Manager

Open Computer Management

2.

In the console tree, click Services.

Where?

Computer Management > Services and Applications > Services

3.

In the details pane, right-click Remote Access Auto Connection Manager, and then click Start.

Under the Status column, Started appears.

Note

To open Computer Management, click Start, and then click Control Panel. Click Performance and Maintenance, click Administrative Tools, and then double-click Computer Management

Remote Access Auto Connection Manager is on by default in Windows XP Professional computers that are not members of a domain and in Windows XP Home Edition.
